A 27-year-old woman tragically died after receiving an “anti-aging injection” at a natural therapy center in the Bronx. The young woman experienced severe adverse reactions to the injection and was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. The practitioner involved has been arrested by the police and is facing multiple criminal charges including practicing medicine without a license. The police received a 911 call around 1:10 pm on Sunday (19th) reporting an unconscious and unresponsive patient at a local hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff to save her, the woman unfortunately passed away. The police subsequently arrested a 55-year-old Dominican man closely linked to the case. The man is currently facing charges of “reckless endangerment of others” and “unauthorized practice of professional medical activities.” Investigations also revealed that the defendant only holds a medical license in his home country and does not have any legitimate medical qualifications for practicing in New York State or throughout the United States, making his medical practice illegal.

The incident occurred around 11:45 pm at the President St–Medgar Evers College station on the 2 train platform heading south. The woman was approached by a man who forcefully tried to steal her handbag, leading to a physical altercation. As the woman struggled against the assailant, he suddenly pulled out a gun and shot her in the chest before making his escape. Upon receiving the report, police immediately dispatched a patrol car to transport the injured woman to King’s County Hospital for treatment. The hospital confirmed that the woman’s condition has stabilized, and her life is not in danger. Subsequently, through tracking the mobile signal, the police located the abandoned bag approximately 1 to 1.5 miles away from the crime scene.
