The China Earthquake Network officially determined that at 18:00 on May 3rd, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in Toksun County, Turpan City, Xinjiang (latitude 42.19 degrees north, longitude 88.19 degrees east), with a depth of 20 kilometers.
