On August 28, 2026, in Terisuuri, Nepal, a deadly mountain flood disaster was reported: A catastrophic flash flood triggered by the collapse of a glacier in the Himalayas near the Nepal-China border, causing a large amount of mud and rocks to rush into rivers, resulting in severe flooding on the Nepalese side.
