“母子連心” (“Mother and Child Connected at Heart”) is not just a mere description of the unbreakable emotional bond between a mother and her child, but rather a real biological phenomenon. Years after pregnancy, the child’s body still carries maternal cells, while the mother’s body retains fetal cells.
