Surveillance footage revealed the assailant dressed in black attire, wearing a mask, randomly attacking people. Witnesses claimed the assailant was deliberately targeting people’s eyes.

Panyu police released a statement indicating that around 5:20 p.m. on the 14th, they received a report of a man wielding a knife and attacking people outside a hotpot restaurant on Xiaoguwei Street in Panyu. The suspect, a 35-year-old man named Li, was subsequently arrested. The injured individuals were treated and are currently not in life-threatening condition. The case is under further investigation.
