According to reports from mainland China’s media, the government of Jianhua District in Qiqihar City issued a notice on the 3rd stating that on the afternoon of February 2nd around 3 p.m., a fire broke out at the “Fanghua Care” nursing home in Jianhua District, Qiqihar City. The fire department, emergency services, health officials, and other departments quickly rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations. At 3:19 p.m., the flames were extinguished on site. The accident led to the death of 5 individuals. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
