The Divine Artistry Ensemble of the US Shen Yun will tour Southern California, specifically the Greater Los Angeles area, from January 15 to February 8, presenting performances in various cities. Prior to the start of the shows, officials and dignitaries from the performing area have sent commendatory letters welcoming Shen Yun, acknowledging its contributions to art and culture, and expressing best wishes for a successful performance.
This year’s tour coincides with the group’s 20th anniversary. Tri Ta, the State Assembly Member of the 70th District of California, extended his congratulations to Shen Yun. He praised Shen Yun for evolving into one of the world’s top artistic ensembles since its inception, with each year featuring a new production showcasing the purest form of art.
“Over the past 20 years, Shen Yun has toured the world, captivating audiences with expressive stories and legends, exquisite costumes, stage settings, and original music,” Ta said in his commendation. “Shen Yun not only provides audiences with visual and auditory enjoyment but also allows them to appreciate the essence of traditional Chinese culture.”
He lauded, “Shen Yun illuminates a world seldom seen by others, covering Chinese history prior to communism, from the ancient Yellow Emperor to the flourishing Tang Dynasty, and the splendor of the Qing Dynasty, showcasing the enduring, five-thousand-year-old Chinese civilization. The positive cultural impact it generates is worthy of recognition and praise.”
At this juncture, Tri Ta specially recognized Shen Yun’s outstanding achievements through the commendation, offering sincere wishes for its continued success in the future.
Philip Chen, the State Assembly Member of the 59th District of California, welcomed the 2026 Shen Yun World Tour to Los Angeles in his congratulatory letter on behalf of the California State Assembly.

Leticia Castillo, the State Assembly Member of the 58th District of California, also praised Shen Yun artists’ unwavering spirit of dedication in her letter.

Pilar Schiavo, the State Assembly Member of the 40th District of California, welcomed Shen Yun to the Greater Los Angeles area in her congratulatory letter on behalf of the California State Assembly, offering wishes for its continued success.
During the Los Angeles area tour, Shen Yun will first perform at theaters in Los Angeles County. Chairwoman Hilda Solis of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors sent a congratulatory letter on behalf of all board members to Shen Yun, offering heartfelt congratulations and the highest blessings to celebrate this significant moment alongside them.
In the following weeks, the Shen Yun Artistic Ensemble will perform at various locations in Los Angeles County, including the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts at California State University, Northridge, The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido in the San Diego area, the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, and the Terrace Theater at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. More officials will also send congratulatory letters on the day of the performances.
