Recently, on a highway in Yucheng City, under the jurisdiction of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, two trucks collided, caught fire, and triggered a violent explosion. After related videos were exposed online, the official website soon deleted the video.
A video taken by a netizen shows that the explosion generated a huge shock wave that knocked over the camera of the person filming. After the fire was extinguished, only the iron frames of the two trucks remained. A man in the video said that the collision between the two trucks was quite violent, “both trucks were totaled, the engines were even knocked off and all burned.” The man also mentioned that one of the drivers looked like a person from Xinjiang.
Another netizen claiming to be from Yucheng posted that the trucks caught fire after the collision, and the explosion occurred after the heavy truck driver ran several dozen meters away, with no reported casualties.
According to a report by the “Xiaoxiang Morning News,” the explosion accident occurred at 3:04 pm on August 1st on the 308 National Highway at Weizhai Village.
Villagers from Weizhai Village revealed that after the collision, an explosion occurred in the gas tank of one of the trucks. Personnel from the Yucheng City Emergency Management Bureau stated that the accident caused one person to be injured, with no fatalities reported.
Currently, all related videos have been removed from domestic social media platforms.
