Since Israel launched a surprise attack on Iran on June 13, Iran has retaliated multiple times using missiles or drones, causing casualties. Despite one Israeli man’s home being hit by an Iranian missile, he escaped unharmed because he was using the bathroom at the time, believing it was a miracle by God.
According to the UK’s Daily Star newspaper, the man named Moshe, in an interview with Israeli Channel 13, expressed his gratitude to God for giving him the need to defecate, which ultimately saved his life.
Moshe was interviewed after his house was hit by an Iranian missile. At that time, he was shirtless with bloodstains on his body. He shared how he survived the explosion, firmly believing it was a divine intervention.
He stated, “If you want to know what saved me, it’s simple. I’ve never been afraid of those missiles, always watching them on TV.” He explained that even after hearing the air raid sirens, he stayed at home watching television instead of seeking shelter in a bomb shelter.
He added, “I just happened to need to use the toilet at that moment. Thanks to this fact, I thank God – He made me need to use the toilet.”
The footage of Moshe’s interview has been circulating on social media, sparking various comments, including one from a former Israeli government spokesperson. The spokesperson wrote, “This man ignored the missile warning but was saved because he went to the bathroom. Don’t rely on defecation to protect yourself. You should seek shelter in a bomb shelter.”
Israel preemptively attacked Iran’s military and nuclear facilities on the early morning of June 13, attempting to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons that could threaten Israel’s existence. Iran retaliated by targeting major cities in Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Israel has issued evacuation notices in Persian to Iranian residents to prepare for potential future attacks on targets in the coming days. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has urged the Iranian people to rise against the Iranian regime and defend their freedom.
In an interview with Fox News on June 15, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel will do everything possible to eliminate the “existential threat” posed by Iran to Israel. The outcome of Israel’s military attacks might lead to a change in leadership in Iran.
