Mainland Chinese Husband of Taiwanese Woman Gets Deported and Suffers Car Accident, Hospital Expenses Covered Out-of-Pocket (Video)

Recently, a woman named Xiao Wei, who had been advocating for the “peaceful reunification” with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), was sent back to her hometown in Guizhou, China, after being expelled from Taiwan. However, her life has not been easy since then. Xiao Wei recently posted a video on social media complaining about her situation. She was hospitalized with a broken bone after a car accident, but had to cover all medical expenses by herself without any companionship. Netizens commented, “Still cursing Taiwan?”

In the video, Xiao Wei expressed her distress, “After the car accident, I went to the Dejiang Hospital emergency room for treatment. I had headaches, chest pains, heart pains, and back pains. I voluntarily requested a full-body examination, and I paid all the emergency room fees. After the CT scan, I was left waiting in the lobby for the results. Despite waiting for over an hour, no one came to inquire about my condition or check on me. I was left alone in the emergency room.”

Xiao Wei had to pay for all the medical expenses herself after the car accident and bone fracture.

But ever since she was humiliated and sent back from Taiwan to her great and beautiful motherland, things have been getting worse day by day.

Oh, fair winds and following seas.

In another video, she mentioned that she is currently staying at the Yanhe People’s Hospital with no companionship. She expressed her grievances, “After the car accident and bone fracture, I handled all the hospital admission procedures and payments by myself. The driver at fault has not shown up until now, and I have covered all the medical expenses by myself.”

According to Xiao Wei, the accident happened when she was riding an electric scooter and a car suddenly opened its door, causing her to fall and sustain a bone fracture requiring hospitalization. Since the accident, the driver at fault hasn’t made a single inquiry call. The contact number provided to the traffic police turned out to be fake and cannot be reached.

“I paid all the medical expenses by myself, and my family’s handmade sweet potato flour workshop had to stop production,” she said. “After the accident, leaving false contact information and intentionally avoiding contact, does this behavior constitute hit-and-run? I hope the traffic police will urge the other party to come forward and take responsibility for the compensation.”

The related videos have sparked mockery from netizens, “Ever since you returned, you’ve become happier, backed by a powerful motherland. “Waving the red flag to exempt all your fees!” “Why didn’t the Party she loves pay for her medical expenses? So strange!” “The people in socialist countries don’t even have the slightest guarantee.” “Having to pay upfront here, while not over there. Now you know which side is better, don’t you?” “Which is better, medical insurance or health insurance?” “Still cursing Taiwan?”

Chinese spouses Yaya, Xiao Wei, and Enqi, who had been advocating for “peaceful reunification” with Taiwan, were deported back to mainland China by the Taiwanese government in March and April 2025. Xiao Wei returned to her hometown in Guizhou on April 1st, but less than three months later, she got into the accident. She previously posted a video claiming she had sought compensation from the village committee but was then scared when she received a warning call from the police in the middle of the night, trembling and asking if there was still justice. However, related videos have reportedly been deleted by authorities for stability maintenance purposes.
