Shen Yun currently has eight dance companies of equal size, touring around the world each year with a live orchestra accompanying each dance troupe. The concert is performed by musicians from the Shen Yun Orchestra.
Also participating in this performance are apprentice musicians from the Feitian Academy of the Arts. Based in New York, the Feitian Academy of the Arts is a private nonprofit higher education institution dedicated to preserving, developing, and promoting traditional performing arts and culture. As part of their higher education program, students have the opportunity to participate in internships and perform alongside Shen Yun musicians.
