The long-standing dispute between the artist Xie He Xuan and his ex-wife Keanna has finally come to an end. Xie He Xuan appeared at the New Taipei District Prosecutors’ Office this afternoon with his current wife Chen Xuan Ni, where, in the presence of Keanna’s appointed lawyer as a witness, he delivered the compensation payment from the previous case. However, Keanna did not appear in person but instead issued a statement through her lawyer.
After divorcing Keanna in September 2020, Xie He Xuan remarried Chen Xuan Ni on April 15 the following year. Keanna had sued Xie He Xuan and his current wife, claiming that they had violated her spousal rights. The court eventually ruled that Xie He Xuan and Chen Xuan Ni had to pay 1.2 million New Taiwan Dollars in compensation.
Xie He Xuan and Chen Xuan Ni decided to show up in front of the media today to witness the repayment. They brought 1,344,860 New Taiwan Dollars in cash to the New Taipei District Court. During an interview, the couple took out a stack of thousand-dollar bills from a yellow childcare bag issued by the city government, stating that this was the compensation money for the former wife as ordered by the court.
Initially, they were supposed to make the payment face to face with Keanna, the “creditor,” but since Keanna did not show up, the transaction was completed through the lawyer’s representation and receipt.
Chen Xuan Ni expressed, “We really want to settle this money, otherwise everyone is probably tired of it by now!” Xie He Xuan added, “I hope she can take the money and live a good life, each leading their own.”
However, after the signing was completed, there are still lawsuits to face between the two parties. It appears that Chen Xuan Ni has filed a lawsuit against Keanna for defamation.
Regarding this, Chen Xuan Ni stated, “Because she (Keanna) previously claimed that I stole her medical records, she kept saying she had evidence to prove it, I was wondering if she would present that evidence.” Xie He Xuan also mentioned, “She said she had a lot of evidence, but in the end, there was none.”
Chen Xuan Ni revealed the current progress, “It should be the 3rd or 4th court hearing, hoping that she can attend.”
According to a report by “Sanli News Network,” although Keanna did not appear in court today, she issued a statement stating, “Regarding the matter of Mr. Xie He Xuan and Miss Chen Xuan Ni infringing on spousal rights, after numerous unsuccessful attempts at reconciliation, I had no choice but to publicly post on social media and discuss personal past on media programs, inadvertently wasting too many social resources. I deeply apologize for this.”
Keanna emphasized that all future matters will be resolved through judicial means. She will no longer publicly respond to private affairs and will return to a normal life. She hopes that everyone can respect this decision and provide the necessary personal space. For any future responses needed, they will all be conducted through a specific channel.
