Beware of the CCP’s “Flea Erosion”

Four hundred years ago, the renowned English metaphysical poet John Donne wrote in his work “Meditation XII” about fleas and their potential to spread disease. It wasn’t until 1898 that the French biologist Paul-Louis Simond discovered that fleas could indeed be deadly, transmitting the plague by biting infected rats, and later found to spread the plague among humans as well.

This historical context leads us to reflect on the actions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in our current era. In a recent book by investigative journalist Peter Schweizer titled “Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans,” and in his interviews, he draws analogies between the CCP and the flea mentioned by Donne, highlighting the damage caused by CCP’s activities.

The CCP’s acquisition of American farmland, theft of technological secrets, manipulation through platforms like TikTok, and support of radical groups in the U.S. are all part of its “Unrestricted Warfare” against America, akin to the flea’s harm.

Just like the flea, the CCP brings plague and death. The global COVID-19 pandemic originated from China, yet there has been no official apology or complete explanation from the CCP. Schweizer also exposes CCP’s involvement in the fentanyl drug trade which causes tens of thousands of American deaths annually.

Schweizer reveals another form of CCP’s destructive influence in America, such as covertly funding various extreme organizations to support protests, adding to the threats to American sovereignty.

So, why do some elites turn a blind eye to the CCP’s detrimental actions towards the U.S.? The answer lies in greed and financial interests prioritized over patriotism, as Schweizer’s book “Blood Money” uncovers.

Retired Marine Colonel Grant Newsham’s book “When China Attacks: A Warning to America” echoes similar concerns, emphasizing the CCP’s growing military power, the fragile status of Taiwan, and the repercussions for the U.S. and its Pacific allies.

As ordinary Americans, we can contribute by educating others about the threat posed by the CCP, reading relevant materials like Schweizer’s interviews, advocating for awareness, and supporting legislative actions.

It’s time to stand up against the CCP’s encroachment on American values and sovereignty. Strengthening our national defense and economic infrastructure while promoting awareness are crucial steps towards combating CCP’s influence.

In conclusion, we must uphold our traditional values and reject the oppressive regime of the CCP. The warning signs are clear, and it’s imperative to rid ourselves of the CCP’s detrimental influence.
