In Guangdong Lufeng, a horrifying case of child molestation at a kindergarten has been exposed, where a security guard in the security room molested 11 boys and girls with his fingers. It wasn’t until recently when a girl started bleeding from her lower body that his despicable actions were brought to light.
On July 18, netizens revealed that a security guard at the Weicai Kindergarten in Donghai Town, Lufeng City, Guangdong, had molested several children at the kindergarten.
According to Benliu News, screenshots of conversations among parents related to the Weicai Kindergarten in Lufeng have been circulating online, indicating that a security guard at the kindergarten is suspected of molesting children. The victims numbered 11, as reported, “He admitted to molesting 11 children, both boys and girls. After 9 o’clock when there were no teachers at the door to pick up the children, the security guard dragged a late girl into the security room, took off her pants, shone a flashlight on her private parts, and inserted his fingers…”
Informants claim that the guard would lure children to the pool window with candies multiple times at the kindergarten.
Parents have been cautioning each other to inquire about their own children, whether they have eaten candy or visited the security room, with concerns that there might be more victims.
As revealed in the chat screenshots, one parent disclosed, “The guard molested the same girl on the 16th and 17th, causing her to bleed before it was discovered.”
Benliu News contacted parents of the kindergarten on the 19th and confirmed the aforementioned molestation incident. On the same day, calls made to the kindergarten and the Lufeng City Education Bureau resulted in both parties claiming ignorance.
On the morning of July 19, a Benliu News reporter was able to reach a parent in the group, who admitted that “it is true,” before hanging up the phone.
Reportedly, when attempting to contact the phone numbers of “Principal Cai” and “Director Lin” as provided on the Weicai Kindergarten’s public WeChat account, the former was unreachable, and the latter went unanswered.
According to the workforce at the Lufeng City Education Bureau, they stated, “We are not aware of this; we will ask the preschool education department,” and after waiting for 5 minutes, the response received was to “inquire with the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department.”
Employees at the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department declined an interview citing “we have not received any relevant documents from the public security bureau.” Similarly, staff at the Lufeng City Public Security Bureau refused an interview stating “we cannot confirm the identity of the journalist over the phone.”
Following the exposure of this incident, netizens expressed anger and disgust. Some online users remarked that security guards, originally positioned to safeguard the kindergarten area, ended up becoming suspects who harmed children. Such beastly behavior is appalling.
“This incident serves as a warning to all parents. It is crucial to provide children with timely sex education, explaining to them which parts of the body should not be touched by anyone. Furthermore, monitor your child’s emotional changes, maintain effective and open communication with them. If any abnormalities are noticed, intervene promptly to ensure the healthy growth of children.”
On the evening of July 19, the Lufeng City Public Security Bureau issued a statement, stating that on July 17 around 5 p.m., the suspect Zou Moumou (male, 32 years old, from Lufeng) was arrested around 6 p.m. Currently, Zou Moumou has been criminally detained.
