On Friday, June 27, President Trump made a rare appearance at a White House press conference and answered questions from a reporter from the New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV), Tao Ming, about plans to assist American families and workers. Trump also gave rare praise to the media by calling the Epoch Times and NTDTV “great organizations.”

Trump: Very good.
Tao Ming: Thank you very much for agreeing to the interview. For all of us here, it is truly refreshing to have the President appear at the White House press conference.
Trump: (NTDTV, Epoch Times) is a great team. Refreshing, isn’t it?
Tao Ming: Very refreshing.
Trump: I understand what you mean.
Trump: I think it’s a tremendous thing to remove the power of these far-left judges. Today is a very important day, it’s really crucial. I’m a little bit regretful because we have a signing ceremony (for the Rwanda and Congo peace agreement) at 3 p.m. this afternoon, and today’s news is likely to overshadow that. It was a major war that really impacted the entire African continent, just think about it, the whole African continent was affected.
Trump: We are going to put an end to that war today. But today’s ruling might become the headline, although it is indeed a significant moment. Returning the power to those who should have it, including the Congress and the President, is just removing the “bad power” that judges have, stripping them of their improper, pathological, and unfair power. This will truly be a landmark decision.
