On May 6th, in Shandong, a mother and her two daughters were riding an electric bike on a non-motorized lane when suddenly a sedan began reversing from the side, striking the three of them and sending them flying several meters. The video of the incident went viral online, sparking widespread attention.
The video released by Penglai News shows that the incident took place on Naoshi Street in Binzhou, Shandong Province. A mother was riding an electric bike with her two daughters, traveling in a line on the non-motorized lane. Suddenly, a black sedan parked on the side of the road began reversing at a high speed, crossing over the roadside barrier and crashing into the mother and her two daughters, sending them along with the bike flying several meters away, landing unconscious on the pedestrian pavement. The sedan only came to a stop after hitting a tree by the roadside, with its rear seriously damaged.
From the video, it can be observed that none of the three individuals were wearing helmets. Subsequently, a passerby rushed over to check on the situation, and the female driver of the sedan slowly got out of the car.
Another video shows that an ambulance arrived at the scene after the incident. In the video, one of the girls appeared to be relatively unharmed as she could stand up and walk, the mother had regained consciousness and was being lifted into the ambulance, while the condition of the other girl lying on the ground was unclear.
