Porto’s Bakery, an iconic Cuban bakery known for its affordable prices and wide selection of sweet and savory pastries, is set to expand into the Inland Empire in Southern California. The bakery is scheduled to open its first store in Ontario in 2028.
On Tuesday, Porto’s announced alongside local government officials that the new store will be located in the eastern area of Ontario, specifically at the intersection of Archibald Avenue and Inland Empire Boulevard.
The CEO of Porto’s stated that the new store will occupy approximately 50,000 square feet, consisting of three buildings that will house a restaurant, cafe, and retail space. Construction is expected to begin next year, with the store slated to officially open in 2028.
This bakery blends California and Cuban flavors in its offerings, ranging from desserts and bread to savory dishes, making it a must-try culinary destination in Los Angeles. Its existing stores often have long lines of eager customers.
At present, Porto’s has six stores in Southern California, located in Glendale, Burbank, Downey, Buena Park, West Covina, and Northridge.
