The Chinese authorities have reported that this disaster has resulted in significant casualties and missing persons. As of Thursday morning, three deaths have been confirmed, with 558 people missing, including 260 foreigners.
According to the Nepalese police and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), at least 332 people have died in Nepal, with over 900 missing, including around 517 foreign tourists.
