Recently, a shocking criminal case occurred in Nanjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, where a police officer under the influence of alcohol committed a violent crime, resulting in the deaths of two family members of his girlfriend and leaving one person injured.
According to a report from Huashang Daily News, it was recently circulated online that a criminal case took place in Nanjiang County, with the perpetrator being a police officer named Deng from the county’s public security bureau. On the night of the incident, he used a knife to kill two people and also stabbed his girlfriend.
In response to this, a spokesperson from an authoritative department in Nanjiang County confirmed that the incident occurred on the night of September 23rd. Deng is indeed a police officer, and the deceased individuals were his girlfriend’s brother and mother, while his girlfriend was also injured but has since been treated and is out of danger. Deng was arrested after the crime and is currently under criminal detention.
A neighbor of the victims revealed, “The woman was seriously injured at the time, luckily she didn’t die, and was saved. I live in this community, in one of the buildings.”
On September 26th, the Nanjiang County Public Security Bureau reported that the event occurred around 10:40 pm on the 23rd. The police officer Deng (41 years old) was drunk and got into a conflict with his girlfriend’s brother, ultimately killing the brother and mother of his girlfriend, while his girlfriend was injured. Deng has been apprehended.
According to the report, around 6 pm on the same day, Deng invited his girlfriend (35 years old) and her brother (31 years old) to dinner, where they consumed alcohol. After dinner, they went to a certain large-scale KTV to sing and drink. During their time there, the girlfriend’s brother felt that Deng’s behavior was inappropriate, leading to an argument between them. Despite friends’ attempts to mediate, Deng left first.
Around 10 pm, the girlfriend’s brother called Deng who had already returned home, and they got into another argument over the phone, exchanging insults and provocations. Around 10:40 pm, Deng went to the girlfriend’s brother’s home with a fruit knife and stabbed the girlfriend, her brother, and their mother (58 years old). Despite rescue efforts, the brother and mother passed away, while the girlfriend is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Currently, Deng has been criminally detained by the public security authorities.
