Recently, in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, a driver accidentally stepped on the accelerator while trying to stop children from making noise in the car, causing the vehicle to accelerate and crash into three cars within 6 seconds at the Sanwan Park parking lot, injuring 4 people.
The driver, Guo, stated that before the incident, he was waiting to enter the parking lot, but had not turned off the car engine or engaged the handbrake.
