Supermodel Cindy Crawford’s only son, Presley Gerber, passed away last month, and Crawford had not publicly addressed the matter until recently. Nearly a month after the loss of their beloved son, Crawford, along with her husband Rande Gerber and daughter Kaia Gerber, took to social media to share a heartfelt post in memory of Presley.

Crawford wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her son, expressing immense sorrow. She reflected on the 27 years of companionship they were fortunate to have with Presley, describing him as having a gentle and beautiful soul that both gave and received love, past, present, and forever.
Crawford praised Presley for facing the world with sincerity and vulnerability, thanking the public for their support during this heartbreaking time. She expressed gratitude for those who understand and cherish their family, as well as strangers who sympathize and share in their pain, acknowledging the outpouring of love and support.
“We look forward to meeting you again, our dear child. We will love you forever – Mom, Dad, and Kaia,” the model wrote.
Presley’s sister Kaia also posted on Instagram, describing her brother as her “most important mentor in life,” “best companion,” and “great guardian.”
“I can’t find the right words,” Kaia wrote. “Perhaps, the only solace is that we didn’t really need words. Language is always inadequate, it diminishes the essence of things, trying to summarize everything, but often cannot touch the truth.”
“You always chose to believe in others. Faced with cruelty, you showed not anger, but confusion… and curiosity. You firmly believed in the goodness of humanity,” she said.
Kaia reminisced about their childhood, recalling a time when she was scared to get her ears pierced and it was Presley who went ahead. She ended her post with a series of heart-wrenching confessions, expressing her deep love for her brother and the void his absence has left.
“And, without you here, this party is just the worst,” she added.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, Presley Gerber passed away on September 20 at the age of 27 while at a rehabilitation facility. His cause of death remains under investigation, with the coroner’s office listing it as “pending.”
In the days leading up to his passing, Presley Gerber had candidly shared his struggles with addiction and his journey towards recovery in hopes of finding his true self.
George Clooney, a close friend of Cindy Crawford and her husband, recently commented on the family’s grieving process following Presley’s death. Clooney mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that it’s still too early to discuss the matter.
