On November 5th, a netizen named “Little Dragon Fireworks” posted a video on the social platform Douyin, showing an unidentified flying object resembling a butterfly suddenly appearing in the sky over Zhangjiayingzi in Kun District of Baotou City, flying slowly and steadily.
On November 8th, the video uploader, Mr. Chen, told “Urban Scene” that on the 5th at noon, he unexpectedly saw this flying object about 50 meters above his own shop. He estimated the size of the flying object to be about the size of an “Lao Toute” scooter, making no sound, and definitely not a human aircraft.
According to Mr. Chen, the area where his shop is located is densely covered with high-voltage lines, so it has been designated as a no-fly zone by the Baotou City government. If this “unidentified flying object” is related to humans, it would violate airspace management regulations.
Staff from the Baotou City Defense Mobilization Office stated that the relevant departments currently do not have any information about the “unidentified flying object,” and there have been no reports from the public about such a situation, so there are no immediate actions being taken.
