New York State Health Insurance Consultation Meeting to Take Place on January 18, 2025

Health insurance is crucial to people’s lives. What are the major changes in healthcare insurance in New York State in 2025? Can higher-income residents of New York also receive financial assistance? When should one enroll, and when should one renew?

To help New Yorkers continue to enjoy healthcare benefits in the new year and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest healthcare information, NTD Television and the New York State Health Insurance Marketplace will host the “2025 New York State Health Insurance Consultation Conference” at the Sheraton Hotel in Flushing on January 18, 2025 (Saturday).

This event will feature a rich program, including speeches by healthcare experts analyzing healthcare policies, veteran Chinese medicine practitioners discussing wellness tips for the winter-to-spring transition season, as well as hospitals and clinics offering free consultations. Additionally, a law firm will provide various types of free legal consultation services for the public, and more.

Health insurance in New York State in 2025 will be more affordable than in previous years.

– The ongoing federal tax benefits significantly reduce the monthly premium costs of qualifying health plans, making healthcare insurance more affordable for more New Yorkers, even those who were previously ineligible.

– Higher-income residents of New York are eligible for financial aid and can apply for and receive expanded tax credits.

– New cost-sharing reduction measures in 2025 further reduce out-of-pocket costs for some participants in basic and qualifying health plans, making healthcare insurance more accessible.

– DACA beneficiaries are eligible to enroll in the Essential Plan.

– More services with zero copayment.
