Chinese Famous Chain Restaurant Tas Ting Burger Exposed for Serving Raw Meat

Recently, the well-known Chinese chain restaurant TasTin Burger was exposed for selling raw chicken cutlets that were not cooked properly, putting the food safety of TasTin Burger back in the spotlight.

On December 24th, Mr. Xiong from Deyang, Sichuan, posted a video claiming that he ordered a TasTin Burger late at night and found raw meat in it.

According to Mr. Xiong’s statement to “People’s Concerns”, he took a bite and realized something was off. When he took out the chicken cutlet from the burger, he found it to be raw meat. He said, “It really affected my mood, I vomited everything that I ate yesterday,” and the next day he experienced mild discomfort in his abdomen. So, he complained to the platform for a refund.

On the 25th, “People’s Concerns” called the involved TasTin store, and a staff member replied that the food is fried according to standards, but it might have been fried too much at once, causing the chicken cutlets to stick together, resulting in some being raw in the middle.

The staff member also mentioned that the two parties have already resolved the issue through negotiation, and the store has provided compensation according to the relevant procedures.

The news sparked discussions online. Many netizens expressed their experiences, “I also found raw meat in the middle of the fried chicken leg from TasTin.” “I used to order their burgers often, but after eating raw meat once, I never went back.” “I experienced it personally, took a bite and then had diarrhea.” “A few days ago, I ordered the pepper half chicken, and found several chicken feathers.”

This is not the first time TasTin has been reported by consumers for serving raw meat. On October 27th of this year, a consumer in Guangzhou exposed that they found raw meat in a TasTin Burger, which went viral.

On October 26th last year, a netizen from Jiangxi ordered TasTin Chinese Burger takeaway and found that the popcorn chicken and chicken thigh meat were not cooked. The consumer posted, “I have tolerated you for a long time, TasTin”, and it also went viral.

On September 20th last year, a netizen in Jiangsu revealed that they found raw meat in the crispy meat from TasTin, and after eating half of it, they realized it was not cooked. Both people started having diarrhea in the middle of the night.

According to netizens, TasTin’s issue with raw meat has trended five to six times.

There have been more than 1,860 complaints about TasTin on the Black Cat complaint platform, with most complaints regarding uncooked meat in the burgers, slow serving speed, and poor service attitude.
