Similarly, Burger King is celebrating the day with a week-long promotion through its “Royal Perks” loyalty program. On National Cheeseburger Day, members can enjoy a free Bacon Cheeseburger by spending at least $3 through the Burger King app.
Throughout the week, other offers include free 4-piece nuggets on September 19 for a $3 purchase and a complimentary Original Chicken Sandwich on September 20 for a $3 purchase.
Wendy’s, another popular burger chain, is offering promotions to members of its “Wendy’s Rewards” loyalty program. Members can purchase any item at participating US locations and add a Dave’s Single Cheeseburger for $1.99.
Additionally, Wendy’s has chosen to collaborate with the Grubhub delivery platform for this year’s National Cheeseburger Day. Eligible customers can receive a free Baconator, the chain’s signature burger, by spending $20 through the app.
Buffalo Wild Wings, a US-based fast-casual dining chain known for its wings, is also participating in the celebration. Customers who purchase a regular cheeseburger at participating locations will receive another cheeseburger for free.
The chain specifies that this one-time offer cannot be combined with other discounts, nor is it applicable to lunch combos or burgers on the kids’ menu.
In the spirit of the holiday, Red Robin is giving away 400 electronic gift cards. Customers can participate in a raffle by commenting on the September 18 Instagram or Facebook post according to the instructions on the restaurant’s website.
As of Friday, Red Robin is offering a buy-one-get-one-free burger deal where the value of the complimentary burger must be equal to or less than the purchased burger. Customers can place their orders online or through the Five Guys app using the promo code “BOGOBURGER”. This offer is not valid for in-store purchases.
