In recent days, the general manager of the Guangxi branch of the Three Gorges Group, Wu Qiren, has been investigated. According to insider sources from the Three Gorges, the reason for his downfall is the disclosure of the truth about the flood in Hengzhou, Guangxi, and the actual situation of the Three Gorges. The whistleblower also made public the official simulated dam collapse diagrams, which reveal that within just one week, 29 cities including Wuhan and Shanghai would be flooded, affecting a total population of 132 million.
On July 21, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China announced on its website that Wu Qiren, general manager of the Three Gorges Group’s Guangxi branch, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under investigation.
Subsequently, an individual claiming to be an insider of the Three Gorges submitted a whistleblower post to the overseas social media platform by the blogger “Luo Xiang – Breaking the Wall”, revealing that Wu Qiren was taken away for investigation due to his disclosure of the flood and internal situation of the Three Gorges.
The whistleblower stated, “The situation is very serious. He often divulged insider information at various dinners. He has a great talent for storytelling and expression. Now, the higher-ups are trying to cover up everything, but he spoke out against the wind and got into trouble! The relevant departments have long conducted in-depth analysis of the collapse of the Three Gorges, from analyzing for 72 hours, a week, three months, to half a year. The data is detailed, and as an insider, he captured some things on record. Let more people have the right to know!”
A video of the Three Gorges collapse analysis report recorded by the whistleblower shows hundreds of pages of data on a table, with the top ones being the “Simulated Scenario Diagram of the Immediate Collapse of the Three Gorges Dam.” It includes maps such as “Flooded Area Map One Week Later,” “Simulated Flood Velocity Map One Week Later,” “Population Heat Map Affected One Week Later,” and “Map of Interruptions in Transportation One Week Later.”
The “Simulated Scenario Diagram of the Immediate Collapse of the Three Gorges Dam” indicates that 6 hours after the dam collapse, the flood peak will reach the surrounding areas of Yichang in Hubei; 24 hours later, it will reach Jingzhou and Wuhan; 72 hours later, it will reach Anqing in Anhui and Jiujiang in Jiangxi; and after 168 hours (one week), the flooded area will reach its maximum extent.
The diagram in the lower left corner shows the depth of the flood, with the darkest areas having depths of over 10 meters; followed by 5 to 10 meters, then 2 to 5 meters, 0.5 to 2 meters, and below 0.5 meters. Cities like Yichang, Jingzhou, Shilu, Honghu, Wuhan, Ezhou, Huangshi, Jiujiang, Anqing, Tongling, Wuhu, and the surrounding areas of Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake are depicted with darker colors.
Areas with depths of over 10 meters mainly focus on the dam collapse point, the main channel of the Yangtze River, and the lower-lying areas on both sides, covering an area of about 15,000 to 25,000 square kilometers. The 5 to 10 meters range is wider, covering the plains on both sides of the main river channel, some areas around the lakes, and the middle and lower reaches, with an estimated area of 20,000 to 35,000 square kilometers. When all the depth categories are combined, the estimated area will be nearly 150,000 square kilometers.
The “Simulated Flood Velocity Map One Week Later” categorizes the flow velocity into 6 levels: a velocity of over 10 meters per second, 5 to 10 meters per second, 2 to 5 meters per second, 0.5 to 2 meters per second, 0.1 to 0.5 meters per second, and below 0.1 meters per second.
The flow velocity descriptions show that a velocity of over 10 meters per second is the main flow of the flood, causing strong erosion and massive destruction, making it difficult for buildings to withstand; the flow velocity of 5 to 10 meters per second is high, causing noticeable erosion and damaging levees and bridges; a medium flow velocity of 2 to 5 meters per second can transport large floating objects and also cause damage to buildings; a flow velocity of 0.5 to 2 meters per second is slower, mainly causing inundation in flood-prone areas; a flow velocity of 0.1 to 0.5 meters per second is slow-moving, creating long-term flooding leading to secondary disasters; and a still or slow flow rate below 0.1 meters per second will cause extensive flooding.
According to the color codes, areas ranging from Yichang in Hubei to Wuhu in Anhui are projected to experience flow velocities of over 10 meters per second or 5 to 10 meters per second all along the Yangtze River basin.
The “Population Heat Map Affected One Week Later” marks at least 29 cities along the river that will be affected.
These cities include Zigui County with 21,000 people upstream of the Three Gorges Dam, Xingshan County with 18,000 people; downstream of the Three Gorges Dam, Yichang with 830,000 people, Jingzhou with 670,000 people, Wuhan with 7.24 million people, Ezhou with 1.07 million people, Huangshi with 750,000 people, Jiujiang with 540,000 people, Anqing with 520,000 people, Wuhu with 1.37 million people, Nanjing with 9.31 million people, Chaozhou with 500,000 people, Zhenjiang with 810,000 people, Jinhua with 560,000 people, Changzhou with 9.31 million people, Ganzhou with 500,000 people, Hangzhou with 11.94 million people, Wuxi with 12.74 million people, Jiaxing with 450,000 people, Shaoxing with 570,000 people, Taizhou with 710,000 people, Shanghai with 24.87 million people, and others.
The map indicates that the total affected population after one week is estimated to be about 132 million, with approximately 63.2 million people severely affected by flood depths of over 2 meters; about 48.6 million people affected by flood depths between 0.5 and 2 meters; and about 16 million people affected by flood depths below 0.5 meters.
The “Map of Interruptions in Transportation One Week Later” shows that around 7,428 kilometers of highways, 9,865 kilometers of national and provincial roads, and 2,318 kilometers of railways will be completely cut off, and 156 bridges will be disrupted. In addition, 18 airports and 27 ports will be affected. From these numbers, it is evident that transportation in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River basin will be paralyzed.
Furthermore, the blogger “Luo Xiang – Breaking the Wall” has also uploaded the Guangxi flood truth provided by the whistleblower.
According to the whistleblower, over 17,000 people have died in the flood in Hengzhou, Guangxi. Currently, the police are stationed, barring entry to the disaster-stricken areas to cover up the truth. The reasons for not releasing the flood in advance were to avoid logistical issues such as accommodations and food, which require funding, with local financial authorities tacitly understanding that it’s better not to notify. This silence is a default consensus; it’s easier to handle the dead, though it lacks humanity, but it’s the reality. There has been massive burial of bodies in Hengzhou, but it poses risks of epidemics and future undisputable evidence. They initially used open-air burning with fuel to cremate, but the progress was slow, burning little in a day and emitting heavy black smoke. Now, they have switched to using high-strength acid.
“The Three Gorges Dam has leaks at multiple locations at the bottom, with some leaks flowing at a rate of 30 cubic meters per hour. Leaders have all left with their families, claiming they are studying in different places, calling on us to stand firm, treating us as disposable items. Last year, with a budget of 1.28 trillion yuan for water conservancy, after peeling off layer by layer, when it reached the units, if they received one or two percent, they thanked their lucky stars. The leaders even demanded cards; this is not a natural disaster, it’s a man-made catastrophe.” The whistleblower stated, “With 17,000 deaths in Hengzhou, this is just the beginning. The collapse of the Three Gorges is only a matter of time, with deaths possibly increasing dramatically, affecting at least 470 million people…”
From July 4th to 6th, due to the impact of Typhoon “Meisak”, Guangxi experienced continuous heavy rainfall in multiple areas, with Nanjing, Hengzhou, Guigang, Qinzhou, and Fangchenggang accumulating over 600 millimeters of rainfall in historical record levels.
On July 6th, the Six Blue Reservoir in Hengzhou collapsed due to the floodwaters pouring in, leading to severe damage in towns such as Liulan village and Yunbiao town downstream of the reservoir. On July 9th, the official statement indicated that there were 39 deaths and 9 missing persons in Guangxi, with 26 deaths (including 5 unconfirmed individuals) caused by the breach of the Six Blue Reservoir in Nanjing. Due to the vast discrepancy between this data and the circulated videos of the disaster online, it has raised significant questions.
