A 64-year-old woman from Ohio, Pegi Robinson, shared her extraordinary story of having faced “death” twice in her lifetime, experiencing near-death encounters. She pleaded with God to let her return to the earthly realm because she still had children to raise.
Robinson recalled her first brush with death at the age of 5 when she nearly drowned while swimming in a pond. Twenty years later, at the age of 25, she faced another near-death experience due to pregnancy complications, where she not only journeyed to another realm but also encountered God, as reported by the UK’s Daily Star.
In a bright white room, she saw God and implored Him to let her live, but God was not easily persuaded. He even hinted that she was a “spoiled child.” Robinson described seeing God sitting at the front and center of the room, ready to listen to her complaints.
She began shouting that she wouldn’t leave, that she still had children to raise. She couldn’t leave them on Earth without a mother’s love and protection. Then, a scene appeared to her left, showing her entering a grocery store where a clerk stood at the checkout counter, and a boy was throwing a tantrum demanding something he wanted right then.
Turning back to God, she saw herself reflected as a spoiled child in His eyes, realizing she needed to humble herself before Him. With a voice both authoritative and filled with love, God communicated with her through telepathy.
God informed her that her time to die had come. Robinson tried to negotiate with Him, firmly stating that if it could be proven her children would be better off without her for any reason, she would agree to stay. If not, she begged to return to Earth.
While waiting for a response, she noticed a man standing there waiting for her – it was Jesus. In his white robe with shoulder-length wavy hair, they returned to Earth together, hovering over her trailer home at night. Peering inside, she saw her sons discussing her supposed death.
Her younger son, Jeremy (now 44 years old), said to his older brother, Matthew (now 45 years old), “I want Mom back, I want her now.” Unable to bear Jeremy’s pain, she decided to return to the waiting room in heaven, kneeling at Jesus’ feet in tears with God by His side.
She chose to stay there, hoping to reunite with her sons someday. As she relaxed, she asked God, “Who will teach them about you?” Suddenly, she found herself back in the hospital, knowing she had returned to life.
Robinson likened her journey to heaven as a turbulent and endless roller coaster ride. Despite losing a pair of twin fetuses, she persevered. Now, she shares her near-death experience with people to prove that “death itself doesn’t exist.”
She believes that God gives us memories to educate us, as these memories are stored in our souls and are unforgettable. With age and accumulated wisdom, we can better understand these memories.
Gratefully, she stated, “Every day of my life is filled with gratitude, thanking God for allowing me to come back and raise my sons.”
