Jacky Cheung’s “60+” tour, which started in June 2023, has seen over 280 shows in the past two years, with his personal concert record breaking over a thousand. Now, the venue for the “final chapter” has been announced, and he will return to perform at the Hong Kong Coliseum for eight shows in December to welcome the arrival of 2026 together with his fans.
According to the organizers, the “Jacky Cheung 60+ Tour Hong Kong Final Chapter” will take place from December 23, 2025, to January 3, 2026, at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hung Hom. Jacky Cheung expressed, “The final chapter represents the end of one chapter and at the same time, signifies the start of another chapter. The performance is still ongoing. Choosing the Hong Kong Coliseum as the venue for the final chapter of Jacky Cheung’s 60+ tour is a determination of mine. Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Coliseum, carries all the memories and moments of my 40 years in the singing and performing arts industry.”
Speaking about the initial intention behind organizing the “60+ Tour,” Jacky Cheung said, “At the age of 60, it used to be the hypothetical endpoint of my life, career, and everything. When I actually reached that age and reassessed my abilities and passion for singing and performing, I had the idea of organizing my tenth personal concert.”
Jacky Cheung announced the launch of the “60+ World Tour” in 2023, marking his 10th round of personal concerts. Starting from June 9, 2023, Jacky Cheung has toured China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and other places. According to statistics as of October 2, Jacky Cheung’s “60+” tour has reached 280 shows.
On February 23, this year, Jacky Cheung concluded the 218th performance of the “60+” tour in Haikou, China. This also marked his 1,000th personal tour performance, making him the first Chinese singer to refresh the number of tour performances.
Since his first personal concert tour “87” in 1987 starting from the Hong Kong Coliseum to the tenth round of tours in 2025, Jacky Cheung has not only accumulated over 1,000 performances but also covered a journey spanning over 38 years, visiting more than a hundred cities in 18 countries and regions across Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas, witnessing the achievements of Chinese pop music on the world stage.
At the age of 64, Jacky Cheung sings and dances energetically during the “60+” tour, always striving for perfection. Due to various factors such as the pandemic and environmental conditions, he has faced challenges during the concerts. Two years ago, in Malaysia, he experienced dizziness due to Meniere’s disease halfway through the performance but fortunately, it was not serious. In Shanghai, China, he had to postpone the show due to contracting COVID-19. While performing in Taipei, he unexpectedly contracted RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), leading to the postponement of three shows at the Taipei Arena to the following year and the cancellation of three shows in Guangzhou due to health reasons.
Jacky Cheung expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am thankful for the support of the audience at every show of the Jacky Cheung 60+ tour over the past two years, which has led to the upcoming ‘final chapter.’ My team and I promise to enjoy and complete the ‘final chapter’ of the 60+ tour at the Hong Kong Coliseum, leaving the most beautiful memories for everyone.”
