During this summer vacation, 13 YMCA branches in the Boston area are offering free memberships to teenagers aged 13 to 19.
The CEO of YMCA Greater Boston, David Shapiro, and the Superintendent of Boston Public Schools, Mary Skipper, announced this initiative on June 10th. The program, named “Get Summer,” aims to provide teenagers with a safer and more meaningful way to spend their summer break.
The free teenage membership program will run from June 23rd to September 2nd. Families interested in availing this benefit for their children can visit any of the 13 YMCA branches in the Greater Boston area for more information.
