The 115th National Day celebration of the Republic of China (Taiwan) was held this morning (10th) at the square in front of the Presidential Office. This year’s theme was “Happy Birthday, Republic of China,” with the slogan “TAIWAN．TOGETHER AS ONE,” conveying the spirit of unity and moving forward together.
The event was diverse and rich in content, featuring performances by indigenous tribes, military honor guards, choir performances, and military demonstrations. During the ceremony, a Chunghung helicopter carried a huge national flag flying over the venue, followed by a national day speech by President Lai Ching-te, focusing on issues such as economic development, people’s livelihood, international situation, and national defense security.
This year’s National Day activities also integrated elements of disaster prevention and total societal defense resilience, showcasing new technology for disaster relief equipment. Lastly, the Air Force Thunder Tiger team performed formation flying and released tricolor smoke, concluding the National Day celebration on a high note.
