Hollywood Tough Guy Giant Star Sylvester Stallone: Trump is the Second Washington.

On the evening of November 14th, Hollywood action superstar Sylvester Stallone made a speech at a celebration event held at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, congratulating Trump on his election victory and even praising him as the “second George Washington.”

According to a report by the American magazine “Variety,” the event was held at Mar-a-Lago in Florida by the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) to celebrate Trump’s first public speech since winning the 2024 election. Trump expressed gratitude to ally Musk for helping him campaign in Pennsylvania and highlighted the significance of this election, noting that with his allies’ support, he not only won the electoral votes but also the popular votes.

The banquet hall was filled with Trump’s allies of varying fame. Prior to Trump’s speech, several allies took the stage to speak. Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone, who joined Trump’s Mar-a-Lago private club in April 2021, shook hands with Trump on stage and drew comparisons between the newly elected president and his iconic movie characters as well as George Washington. Stallone congratulated Trump on his victory: “When George Washington defended his country, he didn’t know he would change the world. Because without him, can you imagine what the world would be like? Well guess what? We have our second George Washington. Congratulations!”

“We’re dealing with a true mythical figure, and I love myths; nobody in the world could accomplish what he has done, so I have great reverence for that,” Stallone praised Trump.

At 78 years old, Stallone, known for starring in countless classic films like “First Blood,” gained fame both as a screenwriter and leading actor in “Rocky,” a movie that had a budget of just $1 million but earned $225 million at the box office. It received 10 Oscar nominations and won three major awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Film Editing, solidifying Stallone’s status as a Hollywood superstar.

After Trump’s first presidential term, Stallone purchased a $35 million estate near the Palms Beach Club in Florida. The new property boasts 13,241 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms, 253 square feet of waterfront, a dock, beach, and a pool pavilion with a gazebo.

Born the same year as Trump in New York, Stallone joined Trump’s Mar-a-Lago private club in April 2021 becoming one of its newest members at the time.

According to Fox News, Stallone had been a guest at Mar-a-Lago many years ago. In 2016, when Trump emerged as a popular choice for the Republican presidential nominee, Stallone expressed his admiration and support for Trump, saying, “I love Donald Trump, he’s a Dickensian character. Do you understand what I’m saying?” showcasing his acknowledgment and praise for Trump’s presidential run.
