Sun publicly responded to why he wrote a long article, while Jing Tian herself publicly responded for the first time, self-deprecatingly saying, “I still lack foresight, I still lack wisdom.”
Sun’s lawyer, Zhang Qihuai, confirmed on Weibo on August 27 that Sun has filed a civil lawsuit against Jing Tian and her parents over a property dispute, seeking to recover approximately 30 million yuan in betrothal gifts.
