Taiwanese boy band Ozone to “attack the stage” in August, preparing to sing and dance for 156 minutes

On May 22nd, the popular Taiwanese boy band Ozone announced at a press conference in Taipei that they will be making their first appearance at the Taipei Arena on August 3rd. In preparation for this milestone performance, the members of the group have embarked on an intensive training regimen lasting nearly 3 months, as the entire show requires them to be energetically performing for a total of 156 minutes.

Ozone debuted just a year and a half ago, but they have quickly risen to become the first new generation boy band to hold a ticketed concert at the Taipei Arena, a venue capable of hosting thousands of fans. However, securing a spot on such a prestigious stage is no easy feat. From the announcement of their concert on May 3rd to their performance on August 3rd, Ozone has set ambitious goals in terms of physical fitness, dance routines, vocal practice, and muscle development.

To prepare for their upcoming performance, the group has set targets such as running a total of 500 kilometers over the course of 3 months, practicing dance routines for a cumulative 20,000 minutes (equivalent to 4 hours of dance practice per day on average), and dedicating 100 hours to vocal training. Achieving these goals requires a tremendous amount of effort and dedication.

The dance intensity required for this concert is expected to surpass that of last year’s performance at the Taipei Pop Music Center. Ozone is planning to perform over 50 songs during the nearly 3-hour concert, with a staggering 156 minutes dedicated to high-energy dance routines. As a result, they are undergoing rigorous and high-intensity training to meet the demanding requirements of their performance.

In order to make a striking impression at the concert, Ozone has been requested to actively work on building muscle mass. Regarding the progress of each member’s muscle development, Ozone exudes confidence, stating, “We are ready!” They have teased that their performance will be the most powerful and commanding to ever grace the stage at the Taipei Arena.
