Jin Zhiyuan returns to Korea, fans flock to the airport causing chaos, company issues statement.

South Korean actress Kim Ji-won has gained high popularity for her portrayal of the female lead character “Hong Hae-in” in this year’s hit Korean drama “Queen of Tears.” Returning to Korea from her overseas trip on the 15th, fans caused chaos at the airport. In response, her agency issued a statement on the 16th, urging fans to maintain a safe distance.

When Kim Ji-won left Korea on the 12th, there was chaos at the airport due to fans. Upon her arrival at Incheon Airport on the 15th, a large number of fans swarmed in, leading to overcrowding and further chaos. With only two security personnel accompanying Kim Ji-won, fans from various countries criticized the agency for not having enough security personnel prepared, thus failing to properly protect the safety of the artist.

In its statement, the agency HighZium Studio expressed that it is aware of the seriousness of the safety issue and also called for external appeal for the safety of the fans.

The announcement from HighZium Studio reads: “Firstly, to maintain a safe distance, please refrain from forcefully taking photos, directly delivering letters or gifts, etc. Letters and gifts can be sent to our company, and we will ensure that they are handed over to the individual. Moreover, for safety reasons, please do not take photos and videos outside of the general area in the departure and duty-free areas.”

The company also stated: “We have always been very grateful for everyone’s care and love for our artists. We will strive to prioritize the safety of all individuals under our artist’s management, including the fans.”
