The event kicked off with a presentation on medical aesthetics and varicose veins by Assistant Physician Sheng Xue from The Total You Medical Spa.

Sheng Xue specializes in emergency geriatrics and currently works as an assistant physician at the Houston Surgical Center, also serving as a co-owner of a medical aesthetics center. She provided professional advice on women’s beauty, emphasizing the importance of not only appearance but also maintaining a positive and cheerful attitude. She welcomed questions from the audience and provided contact information for further inquiries.

Next, popular baker Duo Yongfang demonstrated how to make Taiwan’s specialty dessert, black sugar longan mini-cakes, and generously distributed over 100 cakes to the attending mothers. The audience enjoyed the delicious treats while taking notes, praising the taste and expressing their desire to learn how to make them. Traditional Chinese medicine heir Peng Daixun then spoke about the prevention and treatment of sciatic nerve pain, sharing home-based rehabilitation exercises for mothers and highlighting incorrect household movement practices to avoid.

Following the informative sessions, lively dance instructor Zheng Liru led the audience in joyful fitness and rhythmic dance routines. Zheng Liru, who recently retired after a 30-year teaching career, expressed her passion for dance and continuous learning. Mothers at the event praised the benefits of dance for maintaining a good figure and enhancing beauty, actively participating in the energetic dance routines led by the instructors. A festive atmosphere permeated the event with dancing and laughter.

The organizers presented each mother with discount coupons for the Great China Supermarket and hand sanitizer.
