Taiwanese artists Xie Jingying and Zhang Shuwei registered their marriage in December of 2023 and recently completed their wedding photoshoot. The wedding is set to take place on June 9th of this year, following discussions with both families.
Despite their busy schedules, Xie Jingying and Zhang Shuwei took great care in preparing for the wedding photoshoot to ensure efficiency. Xie Jingying expressed gratitude towards the bridal company for accommodating their time. As an actress who has worn wedding dresses multiple times for roles, including in the drama “Glory of Love,” she carefully selected lightweight and comfortable dresses for the shoot, different from the feeling of her own wedding attire.
She shared her excitement for her own wedding, expressing how touched she was that Zhang Shuwei made time in his packed schedule to accompany her in selecting the dream wedding dresses. Seeing his reactions after she tried on the gowns, she felt a sense of certainty about the perfect dress choice for their special day.
For the photoshoot, Xie Jingying selected a total of four wedding dresses, including a custom-made princess wedding gown “Belle” in gradient light yellow, a white feathered sweetheart neckline dress, a silver sequin gown, and a red layered evening dress. Each dress holds special meaning captured in different scenes during the photoshoot.
On the day before the photoshoot, Xie Jingying felt anxious as Zhang Shuwei had a full day of work. When he returned home and found her already preparing for makeup early in the morning, she worried about the long day ahead. Anxious that the photos might not turn out perfect and concerned for his rest, Zhang Shuwei reassured her, saying, “This is our happy memory, not work; we should enjoy the process.” His comforting words calmed Xie Jingying’s nerves, allowing her to fully relax.
