Brazilian Airliner Crashes in Residential Area, Killing All 62 Onboard
On August 9th, a civilian aircraft in Brazil crashed in a residential area, resulting in the tragic death of all 62 people onboard. Just a day before this aviation disaster, a spiritual medium in the country made a prediction during a live stream on social media, foreseeing the plane crash and urging people to pray.
The aircraft, an ATR 72-500 turboprop plane belonging to Voepass Airlines, went down in a residential area in Vinhedo, located approximately 80 kilometers from Sao Paulo, the capital of Sao Paulo state.
At the time of the accident, the plane was en route from Cascavel in Parana state to Guarulhos in Sao Paulo state.
According to a report by the UK’s Daily Star, on the day before the crash, August 8th, Brazilian psychic and internet personality Chaline Grazik, known as the “Psychic of the Stars,” mentioned the vision of the plane crash during a live broadcast on Instagram.
Grazik, whose Instagram following exceeds 15 million, warned viewers from Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, and Rio Grande do Sul to start praying, claiming she had seen a plane crash with many people onboard.
She insisted that such premonitions felt almost like divine revelations, as if God wanted to show her something.
The video of Grazik’s prophecy during the August 8th live stream lasted 21 minutes. She later edited and shared this prophecy as a separate clip in another Instagram post.
Before the air disaster on August 9th, some passengers had ominous feelings about the flight, while others narrowly escaped due to various reasons, as if fate had determined life and death.
Among the victims was 23-year-old passenger Roxana Xavier. Her mother revealed to local media that Xavier had expressed concerns about flying in the rain on WhatsApp before the crash, stating she was afraid because the plane was very old and in poor condition.
Xavier also mentioned damaged seats and a chaotic environment on the flight, sending her mother a final selfie before boarding.
Her mother attempted to calm her down, suggesting she read the Bible to relax, although she was deeply worried herself.
Shortly after, Xavier and the other 61 individuals onboard tragically perished.
Additionally, two passengers who were supposed to be on the flight missed it by a stroke of luck. One of them disclosed to local media that at least 10 people had missed this ill-fated flight.
Adriano Assis, one of these fortunate individuals, arrived at the LATAM Airlines counter around 9:40 am that day, preparing to board a flight scheduled for 11:56 am from Cascavel to Guarulhos, only to realize he had mistaken the airline for Voepass Airlines.
Upon understanding the confusion, Assis attempted to switch counters, but the long queue delayed him, causing him to miss the flight.
The tragic crash has left families grieving and authorities searching for answers in Brazil.
