On the morning of October 7th, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a speech at the Pnyx Hill in Athens, Greece, the site of the ancient Athenian Assembly, calling for the revival of Western civilization and urging allies to stand together with the United States in resisting the decline of the West. New Tang Dynasty Television and Epoch Times conducted live streaming with Chinese subtitles.
Rubio spoke at the birthplace of Western civilization, urging Americans and Europeans to unite and revive the spirit of the West. He stated, “This legacy stretches from Athens and Rome to the Christian world and to the founding of the American Republic. We do not want our allies to justify the flaws of the current situation, but rather to face the problems and take necessary steps to address them. Because we Americans do not intend to be polite guardians of the orderly decline of Western civilization. We are not seeking division, but hope to revive the former friendships and revitalize the greatest civilization in human history.”
