FBI Director Kash Patel is engaged to his girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, who is a country singer. The couple announced their engagement on Sunday, October 4th on the social media platform X.
On Sunday, Wilkins, 27, shared a photo with the 46-year-old Patel, showing off her hand with a ring and captioned it, “Involving ‘law’.” Patel also reposted Wilkins’ photo.
The two began dating before Patel became FBI Director in 2025, and Wilkins even attended his swearing-in ceremony.
In July 2025, Wilkins revealed on “The Megyn Kelly Show” that she met Patel at an event hosted by a friend in Nashville.
Wilkins told host Megyn Kelly that despite spending some of her childhood in the UK and Switzerland, she primarily grew up in Arkansas.
She is currently a country singer, working as a recording artist, performer, and creator. She released her debut EP “Grit” in April 2023.
Apart from her music career, she is also a political commentator. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has been a consultant for “The American Border Story” project since May 2025, and a board member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) since June 2025. Additionally, she has served as a brand ambassador for Turning Point USA and a contributor for The Unity Project.
Patel was sworn in as FBI Director on February 21, 2025.
