A 29-year-old overseas TikTok influencer named Eva Evans recently committed suicide by hanging herself in her Brooklyn apartment. It is reported that she was suffering from depression and facing relationship issues.
According to several local media outlets, on the morning of April 21st (Sunday), a close friend discovered Evans’s body in her apartment. It was evident that Evans had hanged herself the previous night, leaving behind a suicide note.
Family and friends told authorities that Evans had been depressed for several days and was going through severe relationship problems.
Evans had 310,000 followers on TikTok overseas, where she created many videos showcasing the life of young girls in New York City. Some called her the “idol of New York.” Her father had committed suicide in 2018.
Just days before Evans’s death, another 36-year-old TikTok influencer named Kyle Marisa Roth also passed away suddenly for unknown reasons.
