American golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Florida on Friday, March 27th, according to reports from multiple media outlets.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office in Florida told ESPN the accident occurred on Jupiter Island. Woods’ condition is currently unclear.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident. Police informed WPTV that the accident happened after 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday.
Earlier this week, Woods participated in the TGL tournament. The golfer, who has won 15 major championships, has not made a clear statement on whether he will compete in this year’s Masters Tournament.
Woods was previously injured in a car accident in 2021, where he was urgently taken to the hospital for treatment.
