Anhui Serious Car Accident: 3 Dead, 3 Injured, New Energy Vehicle Driver Causes the Accident

Two serious car accidents occurred consecutively on October 13 in Bengbu City, Anhui Province and Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. It is reported that the vehicles involved in both accidents were domestically produced new energy vehicles (electric cars).

On October 13, a netizen posted a video claiming that a traffic accident happened near Longteng Road in Bengbu City, Anhui Province, resulting in multiple casualties. The video showed a chaotic scene with at least 4 people lying on the ground, including a child. Multiple medical personnel were providing assistance on-site, and one injured person was being carried on a stretcher.

The video poster said, “It’s frightening, look at that child, so scary, it breaks my heart, a mother and her daughter were involved.”

According to comments on the netizen video section, the vehicle involved in the accident was an Ideal ONE new energy vehicle. A netizen named “Dai Dai YY” revealed, “One of the deceased was the daughter of my girlfriend’s colleague, only 2 years old!”

At 10:00 pm on the 13th, the Bengbu City police notified that around 4 pm on October 13, a 33-year-old resident of Bengbu City named Guo was driving a small car at the intersection of Longteng Road and Fumin East Road in the city when a traffic accident occurred, resulting in 2 immediate deaths, 1 person who died after being sent to the hospital, and 3 others injured. Currently, Guo has been detained by the police.

However, the police did not disclose the cause of the accident. According to a netizen named “Lin Zi”, “The driver claimed the car lost control, his pregnant wife and child were in the car.”

“Lin Zi” further mentioned, “The scene was too horrifying, the child was all bloodied, and the woman’s leg was bent to her head.” Several netizens also stated, “After receiving a call from relevant departments, the video was taken down due to its graphic content.” “The on-site video was too graphic, and the hat uncle called to request it not to be circulated.”

On the same day, a suspected case of a new energy vehicle losing control and causing an accident also occurred in Xi’an, Shaanxi.

According to a netizen’s video, a Xiaomi car accelerated, suddenly encountering an electric car, swerved left to avoid it and lost control, hitting an object on the left side, then bouncing back and colliding with the platform on the right.

The video showed the Xiaomi car almost completely destroyed, with two individuals lying motionless on the ground at the scene.
