Some sources claim that Ba Shusong has been taken away by relevant authorities for investigation, but the specifics of the case have not been disclosed.
Ba Shusong’s last public appearance in his capacity as a senior executive at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange was on October 22, 2025, at the “China Opportunities Forum” held by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in Shanghai, where he attended as Managing Director and Chief China Economist, among other titles.
