In recent times, reporters from The Epoch Times randomly interviewed people from different regions in mainland China and found that many people are exhibiting symptoms of “white lungs,” with fever and cold symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 infection. Many revealed that suddenly many people around them have passed away, including a significant number of young and middle-aged individuals.
On April 8th, a viral video on Chinese social media platform Weibo showed a critically ill mother lying in bed, caressing the head of her 11-year-old son, giving him final instructions. The boy, wearing a face mask, tightly held his mother’s hands while kneeling beside her. This video brought tears to countless netizens.
A self-media influencer, An Xian, originally from Kaifeng, Henan Province, currently living in the United States, shared in a recent video that in the past 10 days, she experienced several unexpected events, including the passing of relatives back in China, which saddened her deeply. She mentioned the loss of her cousin, who was a year older than her, and a close friend whose husband also passed away.
An Xian expressed her sense of sorrow upon hearing such news, emphasizing the fragility of life, especially regarding matters of life and death. She recalled her mother’s words, “When it’s time for Heaven to take someone, it doesn’t spare anyone, regardless of age.”
With a following of 238,000 on Weibo, popular blogger “Mr. San Tong Qian” expressed in a post that the deaths occurring were part of the balance of cause and effect by Heaven, suggesting that those who had accumulated good deeds in past lives were now expending their merits. He also hinted at the notion that continuous moral decline would strip one of their humanity, relegating them to being no different from livestock.
Mr. Liu from Suzhou mentioned that during the current spring season, there is a higher susceptibility to viral infections. Many individuals with cold symptoms deteriorate into severe cases of “white lung.” Hospitals are crowded and operating at full capacity, with shortages of available beds. The majority of patients seeking treatment are between thirty to fifty years old. Treatment mainly involves administering anti-inflammatory injections, intravenous fluids, and medications.
He shared the story of a friend hospitalized with severe “white lung” for nearly a month, with no signs of improvement after receiving three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. He questioned whether the hospital would acknowledge the vaccine’s role in his condition, and whether such acknowledgment equated to government recognition.
