During the “National Day” holiday in China, there were two consecutive mountain collapses in Guizhou province. On October 6th, a landslide occurred in Tongzi County, leading to one person missing. Prior to this on October 1st, a landslide in Zhijin County resulted in the deaths of six people.
At around 9:16 am on October 6th, a partial collapse of a mountain occurred in Dalongjingzu, Shuijing Community, Haixiao Street, Tongzi County, causing a motorbike carrying one person to go missing. Currently, rescue efforts are underway.
On October 1st at 4:50 pm, a landslide occurred in the Wanzitouzu, Pingzhai Community, Jinfeng Street, Zhijin County, causing one vehicle passing by (carrying five people) and one pedestrian to go missing. By 6:26 pm on the 2nd, the buried vehicle and missing persons were all found. Medical personnel confirmed on-site that all six missing persons showed no signs of life, unfortunately deceased.
