On August 2nd, a warehouse belonging to Qingdao Xiangyu Express Supply Chain Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Qingdao Xiangyu”) in Huangdao District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, caught fire. Qingdao Xiangyu is an important rubber storage base of Xiamen Xiangyu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xiamen Xiangyu”), a listed company on the A-share market. As of the time of reporting, the fire has not been extinguished.
In the afternoon of August 2nd, a netizen posted a video online claiming that a tire factory in Qingdao was on fire. The circulated video showed thick smoke billowing into the sky, indicating a fierce blaze.
On the same day, at around 6 p.m., a journalist from Dahe Daily contacted the Qingdao City Fire Rescue Team. Their staff confirmed receiving a fire alert from a tire factory in Huangdao District of Qingdao. At present, the fire has not been put out, and firefighting personnel are still engaged in handling the situation. Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported.
Subsequently, a notice from “Huangdao News” stated that a fire broke out at the warehouse of Qingdao Xiangyu Express Supply Chain Co., Ltd., located at No. 363 Qixinghe Road, Huangdao District, around 5 p.m. on August 2nd. Currently, the city and district fire, police, emergency, and other departments are on-site organizing firefighting operations. There have been no reports of trapped or injured individuals, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Public information indicates that Qingdao Xiangyu is an important rubber storage service base of Xiamen Xiangyu across the country.
