In celebration of the 115th National Day of the Republic of China, the Los Angeles Arts Alliance Lions Club Foundation held a “Poster Design Exhibition” on September 26 (Saturday) with the theme “Taiwan Creativity, Resonance with the World.” Through poster design, art creation, and floral art, the event aimed to showcase the rich cultural heritage and creativity of Taiwan, conveying the emotions and cultural inheritance of overseas compatriots towards their homeland.
Curator Tang Shuhui stated that this event combines poster design, art creation, and on-site floral art tutorials, hoping to present Taiwan’s rich culture and creativity through various art forms. The goal is to make art not only for appreciation but also a bridge for cultural exchange. With the theme “Taiwan Creativity, Resonance with the World,” the organizers hope that visitors can feel the vitality of Taiwanese culture through the artworks and continue to amplify Taiwan’s creativity internationally. Art knows no borders, and culture requires constant innovation, with the hope that each piece can convey the beauty of Taiwanese culture.
Tang Shuhui expressed special thanks to Chang Hsiang-yu, Chairman of the Los Angeles Arts Alliance Foundation, for participating in curating, and for the support and assistance from various guests and the Los Angeles Chinese-American Educational and Cultural Center through floral art exchanges.
Chang Hsiang-yu expressed the hope that the public can experience beauty and creativity between art and flowers, witnessing the vibrant vitality of Taiwanese culture and art together. The aim is to introduce more overseas audiences to Taiwan’s cultural characteristics and creative energy, and through the celebration of the National Day, to unite the overseas community in their emotions and identification with Taiwanese culture. ◇
