On September 22, Tricia MacLaughlin, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, stated that threats and violent activities against ICE agents have escalated, with a 1000% increase in attack incidents, and “their families have also been subjected to doxxing and attacks.”

Mr. Qin Peng, currently, troops are deployed to Portland, and President Trump also mentioned that “if necessary, I also authorize the use of ‘Full Force'” Why have the violent activities in Portland escalated to the current level?

President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un may hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea at the end of October. Kim Jong-un visited Beijing in early September to participate in the CCP’s military parade, while Chinese Premier Li Keqiang just attended the UN summit and mentioned during a meeting with the US business community that “he likened US-China relations to a marriage, there may be quarrels, but ultimately, they need each other.”

Mr. Henghe, former pro-China South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, why did he not leverage Chinese influence to balance North Korea but instead relied on President Trump across the ocean to bring Kim Jong-un back to the negotiating table? How do you view the statements and choices made by South Korea and North Korea between the US and China?

Last week, Lieutenant General Douglas Schiess, commander of the US Space Force Command, warned at the just-concluded “Air Force Association Aerospace and Cyber Conference” that China’s space capabilities are rapidly catching up with the US at an “incredible pace.”

According to the latest report from the US Space Force Intelligence Department, as of July 2025, China’s satellite count in orbit has exceeded 1,189, an increase of about 927% since the end of 2015. More than 500 of these satellites are intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance satellites equipped with optical, multispectral, radar, and radio-frequency sensors, significantly enhancing China’s capabilities to detect US aircraft carriers, expedition forces, and air force squadrons.

Lieutenant General Schiess stated that currently, China remains the number one threat in space to the US. However, on May 20, President Trump told the media that the US would initiate the “Golden Dome” missile defense system plan, which consists of hundreds of satellites and missile detection and tracking devices.

On September 30, US Secretary of War (Secretary of Defense) Pete Hegseth will convene a military meeting in Virginia, which has shocked the public by summoning hundreds of US generals and admirals from around the world. The Secretary of War did not disclose the content of the meeting to the public but requested that high-ranking officers set aside their duties and attend in person.

This sudden military meeting has sparked widespread discussions. Renaming the “Department of Defense” to the “Department of War,” does this signify a shift from “defense” to actual “warfare”?

Mr. Mark, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has called back so many generals and naval admirals across the globe. What considerations do you believe might have prompted this move?

Mr. Henghe, the US military conducted a surprise raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities in June this year. At the time, the US revealed that this was a long-term covert plan. Now, is it possible that the US is employing a strategy of “openly repairing the plank while secretly crossing Chen Cang,” deploying special military plans quietly in the background? If so, where could it be targeted? If not, why convene such a meeting?

During the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump met with Ukrainian President Zelensky once again, believing that the Ukrainians could reclaim the lost territories in the war and actively expressed military aid from NATO. This shift in attitude from President Trump has been noticeable to the public.

Mr. Qin Peng, at the same time, Secretary of War Hegseth recalled senior US military officers globally and convened a meeting back in the US, with Trump stating that if needed, he would also attend the meeting himself. This is almost unprecedented in US military history, indicating that “a great war is approaching.” Do you think there is a connection between this action and President Trump’s change in attitude towards the “Russia-Ukraine War”?

Mr. Mark, of course, there are also questions raised about this action, with concerns that gathering the global top military minds of the US military may pose significant risks. Firstly, momentarily losing the top commanders in various command headquarters; secondly, if something were to happen at the meeting location, everyone would be affected. How do you view this arrangement?

Mr. Henghe, President Trump has ordered the renaming of the “Department of Defense” to the “Department of War.” It appears now that this watershed moment is not just a change of name but signifies that President Trump wants to fundamentally alter the nature of this security department? Why is President Trump taking frequent military actions?
