Fulton Chinese School Summer Program Open Enrollment Week

Exciting News! Fullerton Chinese School’s Summer Program is now enrolling for its special themed week!

With the guidance of the Orange County Overseas Chinese Community Service Center and the support of the Fullerton School District, from June 24th to June 28th, the school will host a Chinese Folk Dance and Sports Week at Parks Jr. High campus. This program offers a fantastic opportunity for Chinese and non-Chinese students in Orange County, Southern California to learn authentic Chinese folk dances and traditional sports.

Selected by the Overseas Community Affairs Council of the Republic of China, experienced cultural teachers with overseas touring experience, Professor You Qinghui (Assistant Professor of Physical Education, National Changhua University of Education) and Teacher Gu Wanyu (Adjunct Lecturer of Dance Department, National Taiwan Sport University), will instruct students in activities such as diabolo spinning, shuttlecock kicking, spinning tops, fan dancing, folk dances, and more. Through this exposure to Taiwanese arts, students will gain a multifaceted understanding of Chinese culture, fostering a deeper interest in the Chinese language, and enabling children to enjoy a fulfilling and joyful summer break.
