California Illegal Lab Run by Asian Man Busted, More Conspiracies Revealed

According to the latest police records and court documents disclosed in Nevada, United States, investigators have discovered an illegal biological laboratory that was raided last month in a residential garage in Las Vegas, directly linked to the Chinese mastermind of the illegal laboratory in Reedley, California that shocked the entire United States in 2023.

The Chinese mastermind, known as David He, is currently imprisoned, but investigations show that he continues to operate his illegal laboratory business remotely, revealing more hidden conspiracies.

Reported by Just the News, David He, who is currently detained on charges of fraud and counterfeit medical devices, has recently been accused of a “deeper conspiracy.” Investigations have revealed that while being held at the Taft Community Correctional Facility, he did not cease illegal activities but instead remotely managed another laboratory business using prison phones.

Police records show that David He made over 6,945 calls between 2025 and early 2026. Among them, he made 467 calls to Ori Solomon, the property manager in Las Vegas, and over 3,500 calls to his wife who has since fled back to China.

Authorities believe that Solomon was David He’s “primary agent and conspirator” outside of prison, responsible for relocating and managing these dangerous biological materials as directed by David He.

According to the arrest report disclosed by the Las Vegas police, the laboratory located on Sugar Springs Drive was hidden in a typical residential garage. A contract cleaner named Kelly reported that the garage was filled with refrigerators, centrifuges, and glass beakers containing “red liquid,” with an odor in the air reminiscent of hospitals but more decayed.

It was reported that both Kelly and a craftsman fell seriously ill after being in contact with the garage, experiencing difficulty breathing, severe fatigue, and muscle soreness. Additionally, a woman developed a serious respiratory illness and was hospitalized after being exposed to the environment. Kelly also mentioned finding a large number of dead cockroaches in the master bedroom of the residence, suggesting a possible pathogen leak.

A previous report from the Congressional “U.S.-China Strategic Competition Commission” revealed that David He is a fugitive who escaped from Canada to the United States, suspected of stealing millions of dollars’ worth of U.S. intellectual property. His laboratory in Reedley, California, was found to store over twenty pathogens, including HIV, tuberculosis, COVID-19, and deadly malaria, suspected to have received funding linked to the Chinese Communist Party’s United Front Work Department.

David He has continued to deny guilt, with his lawyer attempting to use a Las Vegas property related to the case as bail collateral, suggesting Solomon as a guardian. However, the Department of Justice rejected this proposal, citing a high risk that he would flee back to China as indicated by his wife and business partner’s swift escape in 2023 when law enforcement began investigating. Federal prosecutors believe that if released, David He is likely to follow a similar path to evade trial.

Currently, the trial for David He is scheduled for April this year. His agent, Solomon, was arrested in early February, facing felony charges in Nevada for “hazardous waste disposal.” Additionally, he faces a federal charge of “illegal possession of firearms for non-immigrant visa holders” due to the discovery of six firearms at his residence by the authorities.
